THIS IS OURS:
Inspired by the Malandros of the 19th century, the idea for BAMBAGEAR initiated in the rodas and training sessions where we developed our love for Capoeira and fitness.
It was there that we started to appreciate a Malandro's ability to find a way out of an unfavorable situations using wit and street-sense. Malandros were brave and courageous individuals know as hustlers/gangsters.
With the Malandro mindset, we realized our results were determined by the amount of work we put in. And if we were willing to put in the effort, we’d go far. But if we were willing to put in the effort and be part of a community, we’d go further.
BAMBA represents that mindset. One which has always been a part of founder Mestrando Paraiba who runs a successful Capoeira Academy for almost 2 decades, creating game-changing, well-established team and several Capoeira-related businesses.
